Underwater superoleophobic surfaces have attracted increasing interest because of their remarkable anti‐oil ability and wide range of promising applications. Femtosecond laser microfabrication has been proven to be a powerful tool for controlling the wettability of a solid surface. In this Hall of Fame article number 1701370 by Feng Chen and co‐workers, the recent progress of femtosecond‐laser‐induced underwater superoleophobic surfaces, mainly including materials, multi‐functions and applications are summarized.
