The local administration of bisphosphonates inhibits osteoclasts and promotes osteogenesis, which is a timely “rain” to improve the poor microenvironments of bone defects and promote the regeneration of bones. For this mission, in article number 1901073 by Dankai Wu and co‐workers, optimized bisphosphonate‐loaded composite scaffolds constructed from various matrix materials with appropriate strategies are required in clinical orthopedics, akin to soil that helps the growth of crops.
