The Cover shows the first example of catalyst‐controlled selectivity in the synthesis of C2‐ and C3‐sulfonate esters from quinoline N‐oxides and aryl sulfonyl chlorides. In their Communication, Beibei Ying et al. demonstrate that C2‐ and C3‐sulfonate esters can been obtained by employing LaCl3 and Chitosan@CuI as catalyst, respectively. Moreover, the catalyst Chitosan@CuI can been recycled many times. Based on the reaction intermediate that has been detected by GC–MS, a plausible reaction mechanism is proposed. More information can be found in the Communication by Beibei Ying et al. on page 2604 in Issue 16, 2016 (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201600555).
